These are the terms for reading Daily Business Ideas, on the website and by email. They are plain because the service is plain: we publish business ideas, you read them.

What this is

Daily Business Ideas publishes ideas for businesses that one person could start and run. We build them from public industry data and review each one before it goes out. They are starting points for your own thinking. They are not advice.

What it is not

Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or investment advice. We do not know your situation. Whether a business is a good idea for you depends on things we cannot see. Before you spend money on an idea, do your own research and, where it matters, talk to a professional.

We have not built these businesses. We do not claim that any of them will make money, or that nobody else is already doing them. Numbers such as startup cost and hours per week are estimates.

Domain names

Each idea comes with a .com domain name that was unregistered when we checked it. We check immediately before publishing, and we print the date of that check. Someone may register it after that, including another reader. We make no promise that a name is still available when you read it, and we have no connection to any registrar.

Using the ideas

The ideas are yours to use. You do not owe us anything if you build one, and you do not need to credit us. The text and images on the site and in the newsletter are ours; you may quote them with a link, but please do not republish whole issues.

The newsletter

Subscribing means you agree to receive the newsletter at the address you gave. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. See the privacy page for what we store.

No warranty

The site and newsletter are provided as they are. We try to keep them accurate and available and do not promise either. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on what we publish.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the newsletter. Continuing to read after that means you accept the change.
